Kite Festival in Washington, DC, March 31 2007

The kite festival is part of the annual Cherry Blossom festival in the Nation's Capital. We took 14 children eight years old and younger down to the crowded National Mall.

Getting all the kids safely onto the Metro to go downtown
is a bit like herding cats.
